A Typical Treatment

Pad Applied

A proprietary multi-layer meta-material treatment pad is held on the skin surface at the source of pain and injury, usually for 10-20 minutes. Depending on the condition and severity, therapy sessions are scheduled every other day for the first week to achieve maximum benefit from the treatment. At the beginning of the second week, there is an evaluation to determine the level of pain and functionality to assess if more treatments are needed.

Contraindications and side effects:

I-Therm Therapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions. However, it should not be used in an area that contains a metal rod longer than 8 cm, and the surface area must be free from moisture. I-Therm should be used only no less than 72 hours post surgery.

Side effects if any are generally mild and may include increased urination and sleepiness from increased dieresis and endorphin release. Patients are encouraged to drink plenty of water before and after a treatment session.
